Oval Sunscreen Tubes

Did it ever occur to you that why brands often apply Oval sunscreen tubes for sunscreen product? Not matter in tube packaging or bottle, you mostly see then with oval shape. I cannot figure this out, so I made a research with some of my customers.

Here is some good point I’d like to share with you.

For user-friendly

Sunscreen is usually being taken outdoor, an oval shape making it fits flatter in consumer’s beach bag or hand bag.

Its a market trend.

We have not found any data showing when Oval sunscreen tubes or bottles start to apply for sunscreen products. Some brands are using it as a market trend, consumer can tell its s sun protection product at the fist glance of its packaging.

For Business purpose

– The oval shape could be packed tighter and allows more tubes in a Master carton from the factories

Saving in Carton cost and distribution costs.

– Taking up more shelf space to bring more viewable information. It also makes the product stand out and different.

– More space for the brand to show the graphic and other information comparing to the round one.
